The Matelót Kayak Club is a Tacoma-area group of paddlers that are active throughout western Washington. Paddle trips, clinics and recreational paddling opportunities contribute to a dynamic club environment, where our only limitations are things we haven't tried yet. Membership is $12/year and open to kayakers, canoeists and standup paddleboarders who are looking for more time on the water.

Last call for Anderson Island
The trip is on... we're expecting between 6 and 10 participants for this weekend's overnight to Anderson Island. Look for photos when we get back and stories at next month's meeting.

Meetings
Club meetings are held on the second Monday of the month (except December), at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma.* The Puget Sound Memorial Fieldhouse/Pamplin Sports Center is located on N 11th St, 1/2 block east of Union Ave. There is a large parking lot on the west side of the Fieldhouse as well as an entrance to the building. Matelot meets in Rm 117, which is just down the south hallway and across from the Fitness Center. * Summer meetings are often held on the water. Watch for upcoming locations.
